
Boxed In
Platform through a treacherous realm of shifting rooms which merge and unmerge on their own impetus. Only when the rooms connect, can you travel between them. Collect all the trinkets inside each level to unlock the exit and escape. Can you get the fastest time?

Rooms form Connections between them, and only then can you travel through.
I chose to go with an abstract, mechanics-based interpretation of "Connections." Due to the experimental concept and uncertainty if I'd have time for the jam, I made an early decision to go solo, so if I failed to implement I wouldn't drag a team down with me. My other concepts could only reach their potential with art assets to complete the theming, which I would not have.
Between computer issues and a busy schedule I wasn't able to start until the closing weekend. This game was created in the final 72 hours of the jam. Expect a small and polished entry with a 5-10 minute play time.
Huge thanks to Shawn for offering to help and coming in clutch with a music track and sound effects on the last day! The game wouldn't be half as good without you.
Known Bugs
- Collisions can be buggy on the very end of outside corners (ledges) while the ground is moving up. You can avoid this by
- Staying a half-player-length away from a ledge that is moving up.
- Tapping left and right if on a ledge that is moving up.
